I began using watercolor in college. It was more of a love/hate relationship. I loved the looseness and fluidity of watercolor, but I could not get my mind wrapped around planning the highlights before laying down the first layer of paint. I gave it up, and it wasn't until recently that I took a class and approached the medium with new excitement. Most of my work is inspired by the rural landscape of the Midwest.  Some of my paintings are whimsical, others are more ethereal and impressionist.  I try to tell a story with each of my paintings. Some reveal more of the story from my vantage, others are up to the viewer's interpretation. Below are just a few of the prints I offer. Please contact me if you are interested in any of these.  I am in the process of getting my online shop set up, as well as my portfolio updated. If you would like to be notified, please sign up for my shop updates!
